Core Keeper is a clever, challenging, and immensely enjoyable sandbox mining game that's a blast to play. You can completely change how you play for a new experience, there are a lot of bosses and areas to explore, and the joy of finding a new item or new area is never lost.

And while bosses amp up the challenge, the crafting-focused sandbox design is suitable for people who are less interested in hardcore fighting and more interested in base-building. I’m only ten or so hours in, but I’ve watched Twitch streams where players have built extensive bases and crafted advanced Core Keeper Gameplay items I have yet to even see in my playthrough.
